During these difficult times we would like to reassure our Parents/Carers of the measures that we have put in place to welcome your children back to school on Monday 8th March 2021

We are all aware of the impact that this pandemic as had on our children and families and we are eager to welcome our children back to school and hope that you will find the confidence in us to allow us to support and educate your most precious gifts , your children. Be assured that it is our intention to keep our decisions as transparent as possible to you our Parents/Carers.

Firstly I would like to state that we continue to follow all Government Guidelines regarding sanitization, cleaning and one-way systems etc.

The current guidance asks that we have a bubble for each Year Class, (approximately 30 children per bubble), however, here at Severne we have decided that our best course of action is a bubble of approximately 20/30 children, we feel that this would go a long way to helping to maintain some distancing between our children and hopefully help assure you our Parents/Carers, that although we cannot state that there will be no risk, we may be able to reduce risk with these measures as the safety of our children is paramount to both you and us at school.

Finally I would like to say a big thank you to all Parents/Carers who have supported their children’s education throughout this lockdown period, please help us to help them by returning them to their education on Thursday 3rd September 2020.

Please email: with any questions or concerns and we will endeavour to answer any issues that you have raised.

Mr P.J. Hopkins
